[info]shincosplay is the oldest friend I have that I still regularly talk to. She introduced me to tons of people in middle school, introduced me to cosplay, and I'm seriously happy that my parents bought the house next door to hers. She's absolutely wonderful.

Which is why I'm absolutely delighted to congratulate her on getting married yesterday. Who would have guessed at the time that the hot Kyo cosplayer she met at Fanime would one day be her husband? Not I, but I'm definitely happy for her. :D

Not even touching progress yet (that's for tonight before I go to sleep) buuuut.

Today at school was RAINBOW DAY and, well...when I applied to Paul Mitchell I kind of gave them pics of both my Doppio and Giorno costumes/wigs for reference as to what kind of stuff I'm interested in doing. Cue one of the teachers asking me to wear the Doppio wig and the Giorno jacket because another instructor would "get a kick out of it." Cue me deciding oh fuck it, I'll just be THE BIGGEST EYESORE EVER while I'm at it.

( And since I know a few people kind of wanted to see it when I mentioned it, this has my Doppio wig, Giorno jacket, random tshirt, floral pants, and almost paisley boots. )

ONLI WON LADYBUG because I can't get the bottom ladybug on myself, and I managed to whack the pin backing off the second ladybug with a tripod today. (It's fine, it just needs a new pin backing.) Mom's room because I couldn't get a full view on my mirror, and omgboots.

Today would have been my dad's birthday. I miss him so much. ;_; Mom and I are going to do some more epic cleaning, go to an interview for one of the beauty schools I'm interested in, and then go to see Stevie Wonder in concert tonight. I hope that can take my mind off things... fuuuuuuck.

Global JoJo anime and manga sales hiatus because there's a scene in the animu where Dio is reading a page from the Koran.

WHAT THE HOLY FLYING FUCK. Overreacting much? Good lord.

And now I don't think I'll ever get my Phantom Blood DVD, not if all JoJo ever is being stopped until they can edit out some Muslim imagery.

I hope it's only Stardust Crusaders that's being not shipped; the article is unclear if it's really ALL OF JOJO EVER (and possibly Steel Ball Run) being not shipped until they edit it, or if it's just the offending parts. Augh. HANYAAN RAEG.
